Habitat for Humanity Halton-Mississauga’s latest Milton build is back on.
The two-family duplex on Bronte Street was originally expected to be completed last fall, but unexpected construction delays forced the postponement of the project.
It was recently restarted, with the foundation walls now finished and framing to begin shortly.
The duplex is slated to be finished by October, with the two occupants — a family of four and single parent with three children — expected to take possession in November.
Crew leaders with construction and renovation experience are still needed to oversee the work, as are companies that are willing to have employees participate in Habitat Halton’s adopt-a-day program.
