The Milton Education Village (MEV) Innovation Centre is introducing new services and membership options.

Effective May 1, annual and monthly memberships will be offered to clients of the MEV Innovation Centre to provide unlimited access to work space and amenities. Geared towards small and medium-sized companies and entrepreneurs, the centre aims to encourage growth by providing a foundation for success.

“In many ways we are more than just offering meting spaces. It’s about trying to build a culture of entrepreneurship in Milton,” said Kyle Benham, coordinator for the MEV Innovation Centre.

Monthly memberships cost $200 and annual memberships, $1,200. Memberships will give clients access to unlimited co-working, amenities and free parking. There will also be upgraded memberships, which include a dual membership with the Burlington Hive coworking space.

New services include weekly access to a desk and wireless internet for up to four days per month, for a reduced fee. The centre will also offer a discounted group coworking rate to professionals collaborating on projects, as well as a business meeting option for people requiring professional space to host meetings.

Benham said word is starting to get out about the MEV Innovation Centre and that limited spacing is available.

The centre assists entrepreneurs and the community by providing space and networking opportunities, access to business services, entrepreneurial programming and linkages with Wilfrid Laurier University and other educational opportunities.
