The Town of Milton hosted a community open house celebrating the Mattamy National Cycling Centre on Family Day Monday.
Running from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the festivities were free and included tours of the facility, as well as track cycling demonstrations and various ‘try-it’ sessions of the Town’s Move More Sports program.
Visitors checked out the walking/jogging track — which features a scenic view of the nearby Niagara Escarpment — while Zumba and yoga classes and face painting were also included.
Opening ceremonies with Mayor Gord Krantz were also held.
