They’ll be no shortage of snow on Feb. 6 when Conservation Halton (CH) holds its Moonlight Ski and Hike at Hilton Falls Conservation Area.
Running from 6:30 to 9 p.m., the event will see small groups taken on guided tours through the scenic trails to the falls. A campfire will be waiting for them, as well as hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows.
Those interested in attending are asked to pre-register at (905) 854-0262. The cost is $17 for adults and $11 for children five to 14 years of age. There’s a $15 ski rental package available that must be booked in advance due to limited supply.
CH reserves the right to cancel the ski/hike in the event of unsafe trial conditions.
Another Moonlight Ski and Hike is set for Friday, Mar. 6.
Hilton Falls is located at 4985 Campbellville Road, just west of Appleby Line and north of Hwy. 401.
