Canadian rock legends Tom Cochrane and Alex Lifeson and former Maple Leafs tough guy Tie Domi are among the celebrities that’ll be part of Smilezone Foundation’s second annual golf tournament at Rattlesnake Point Golf Club Monday, July 14.

Pro athletes, actors and business and community leaders will tee off in support of the Smilezone Foundation, which aims to put smiles on the faces of children dealing with illness and other physical difficulties thought the redevelopment and transformation of hospital spaces, private care centres and other facilities.

Proceeds from the local tournament will benefit the Oakville Hospital Foundation.

The event will be co-emceed by Nick Kyprenos of Rogers Sportsnet and Hockey Night in Canada’s Glenn Healy.

The cost for a foursome is $3,500.

Each foursome is paired with a celebrity, while the cost also includes a barbecue lunch and dinner, complimentary alcoholic drinks throughout the day, an auction and a gift package that includes a golf shirt and Taylor-Made adidas Golf shoes.
