Complete Wellness Clinic will hold a family fun day fundraiser on Saturday, June 21, with proceeds going toward its receptionist and life-long Milton resident, Robin Blain, who has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
The Milton clinic will hold the event in the south parking lot of the Green Life Building at 450 Bronte St. S., (or inside the clinic, units 108/109, in case of rain) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
According to organizers, Blain will require at least six to eight months of medical leave from work because of her young age and type of cancer. Her oncology team has recommended an aggressive course of treatment.
Blain, who has a young daughter, has been impacted financially as well as emotionally, event organizers add.
Blain is well-known to clients of the multidisciplinary clinic, where she’s been the face of the clinic for more than three years.
The event will include a barbecue, beverages, cotton candy, popcorn, baked goods, bouncy castle, face-painting, caricatures and balloons for the children. In addition, the Milton Fire Department will have a truck at the event. A silent auction is also planned.
