It was really the first high quality smaller piano on the market that was priced to be affordable, and by utilizing high quality Japanese components was also suitable for institutional use. The Kawai GM10K grand piano is known for being highly durable, with a very nice sweet, warm, singing tone. This model also uses a high-performance composite action, a full sostanuto pedal, and excellent tuning stability. The Kawai GM10K grand piano is a very popular choice for colleges and universities, music schools, and teaching studios.
