The Just for Laughs Road Show will come to Milton for the first time ever on Friday, Apr. 17.
Rob Mackay, manager, cultural services for the Town of Milton said some of the funniest alumni of Just for Laughs will be part of the road show, which will be staged at the Milton Centre for the Arts’ Mattamy Theatre at 8 p.m.
“I am extremely pleased to be presenting The Just for Laughs Road Show this year — the 12th year of the tour showing across Ontario,” said Mackay. “Many will appreciate a relaxing and enjoyable evening of laughter with four very talented stand-up comics.”
The road show features four stand-ups straight from the world’s largest comedy festival, including Canadian Match Game persona Debra Digiovanni, Last Comic Standing winner Alonzo Bodden, Canadian Comedy Award winner Mark Forward and British star Gina Yashere.
Tickets cost $44 for adults and $42 for students and seniors. They’re available at Chudleigh’s Box Office, or go to www.miltoncentreforthearts.ca. A dinner and show package is also being offered for $65, which includes a ticket to Just for Laughs, as well as a dinner at Shoeless Joe’s before the show.
