Milton Chamber of Commerce announces community award nominees

The Milton Chamber of Commerce has announced the 2014 Community Awards recipients and nominee.

The 2014 recipients are:

Citizen of the Year: Laurie Goodman

Lifetime Achievement: Rita Albin Curtis

Joyce Hagevik Volunteer of the Year: Margaret Saliba

Civic Improvement: Del Ridge Homes – GreenLife West-Side

Business Person of the Year: Sandy Hatzis – Re/Max Real Estate; Dr. Garnet Maley – Primecare Family Health Team and Fred Scheuer– Intrigue Media

Entrepreneur of the Year: Sam Kassam-Macfie –Momstown Milton and Lori-Ann McLeod – Oxygen Pilates and Fitness

Business of the Year - 99 employees or less: C. F. Crozier & Associates; RDC Networks; SRG – Stevens Resource Group

Recipients and nominees will be honoured at the 2014 Community Awards Gala at Granite Ridge Golf Club April 10.

The recipients for the Business Person of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year and Business of the Year – 99 employees or less will be announced at the event.
