Halton police are investigating after a man driving an Audi crossed into the path of a pick-up truck before crashing into a ditch on Sixth Line, between Derry and Britannia roads, just after 2 this afternoon.
The driver of the car, a 55-year-old, appeared to have suffered some sort of medical distress prior the incident, police say.
He was taken without vital signs to Milton District Hospital. His condition is not known at this time.
The driver of the F-150 told police the vehicle crossed into his path and clipped mirrors with him, before coming to a stop in the ditch.
Halton Regional Police Collision Reconstruction Unit was investigating and closed Sixth Line to traffic.
Sixth Line between Derry and Britannia is expected to be closed for another two hours.
