NHLer will be part of festivities at grand opening of Paramount Fine Foods
Nazem Kadri will test himself in a different kind of hockey environment when he makes his way to Milton Monday.
The Maple Leafs forward will square off against Mayor Gord Krantz, former Mississauga Mayor Hazel McCallion, Halton Police Sgt. Colin Grierson and others in an air hockey challenge during the grand opening of Paramount Fine Foods, 1149 Maple Ave.
Festivities begin at 5 p.m., with the air hockey contest serving as a fundraiser for the Cops for Cancer program. Each goal scored will increase the overall donation.
The new restaurant will also have live entertainment, a chocolate foundation, desserts and face painting.
