Three dozen of the world's leading conservative and libertarian thought leaders – economists, entrepreneurs, legal scholars, journalists, and political philosophers – will gather at Northwood University in Midland, Michigan, on Oct. 27-30 for Freedom Week.
The free event, open to the public, delivers a spectacular meeting of the minds, bringing together notable and vocal leaders in the global, free-enterprise society as they share insights into current issues, provide historical information and reflect the university's own "Northwood Idea" of cultivating future leaders of a free-market, free-enterprise business world.

The week's events will be followed by a special tribute to Milton Friedman on Oct. 31 – Milton Friedman Day, an event presented in an open classroom format for area high school students featuring two presentations: "Who protects the consumer?" on Oct. 31 at 11 a.m. and "Who protects the worker?" at 12:30 p.m.
