Residents are invited to help shape their community by reviewing the Community Services and Milton Public Library Draft Master Plans and dropping into one of two Public Information Sessions. The afternoon session is from 3 to 5 p.m. The evening session is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Both sessions take place at the Milton Sports Centre (Banquet Room). The Town of Milton and Milton Public Library want to hear suggestions for improving community facilities, programs and services. Wednesday Sept. 24

The Alzheimer Society of Hamilton and Halton begins its eight-week Minds in Motion program for people living with early to mid-stage Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias and their care partners. The two-hour-per-week program, which combines physical activity and mental and social stimulation, is held at the Milton Sports Centre, 605 Santa Maria Blvd., from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. The registration fee is $20 per person.
