A two-year-old boy was rescued from a car on Sunday morning in Milton after he accidentally locked himself inside.
A Halton police officer was forced to break one of the car’s windows to get the child out of the vehicle, parked near Bronte Meadows Park.
An ambulance was called to check on the toddler, who had possession of the keys and was stuck inside the vehicle for nearly 10 minutes.
Police are asking the public to contact 9-1-1 if they see an unattended child in a vehicle.
