Hundreds of Irish dancers will descend on Milton June 21 to compete in the Golden Horseshoe Feis.
The Feis, Irish for festival, is an opportunity for dancers to compete against others in their levels and age categories with their best dances on stage. Participants at the Milton Sports Centre event will showcase their talent in Irish music and art, giving attendees the chance to immerse themselves in the rich Irish culture.
This competition is the last in its Eastern Canadian Region before dancers head to Montreal for the North American Irish Dance Championships in July.
Dressed in extravagant, sparkling costumes, dancers from as far as Nova Scotia, Pittsburgh and Chicago will be judged alongside their GTA peers by a panel of adjudicators from across North America and Ireland.
