Officials received multiple calls about a structural fire in the Campbellville area of Milton around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday night.

Halton regional police, fire services and EMS responded to the scene.

Five people who were inside the two-story building all exited the bed and breakfast, which had significant signs of smoke and flame damage.

They were treated on scene and later transferred to a local hospital. They sustained significant injuries and details are expected later Wednesday.

Officials are investigating the cause of the fire with the help of Halton Regional Police and the Ontario fire marshal.
